Concrete driveway services.
Driveways, paths, slabs, decorative finishes and repairs across Maitland, Newcastle, Cessnock and the Hunter Valley. Here is what we pour.
Plain Concrete Driveways
The most affordable way to get a proper concrete driveway. We pour 100mm of structural concrete over compacted base and F62 mesh, then finish it with either a broom finish (textured for grip) or a smooth trowel finish.
Plain concrete is hard-wearing, simple to look after and works for driveways, paths, shed slabs and utility areas. It is the workhorse finish and still the most common choice on Maitland homes.

Exposed Aggregate
Exposed aggregate is the premium finish most people have in mind when they picture a modern concrete driveway. We lay the concrete as normal, then wash back the surface mortar to reveal a layer of river stones embedded in the slab.
The result is a textured, slip-resistant surface with loads of visual depth. Stone colour and size can be chosen to suit your home. Exposed aggregate is popular on new builds across Rutherford, Bolwarra and East Maitland.

Stencil Concrete
Stencil concrete gives you the look of brick, stone or tile without the cost of real pavers. Paper stencils are rolled out over the fresh concrete, a colour hardener is applied, then the stencils are peeled away leaving crisp pattern lines in the slab.
There are plenty of patterns to choose from (herringbone, ashlar slate, European fan and more) and a wide colour range. A good middle-ground when you want a decorative driveway without the aggregate price tag.

Coloured Concrete
Coloured concrete uses oxide pigments mixed through the concrete before it is poured, so the colour runs all the way through the slab. That means it will not wear off or fade back to grey the way surface-applied colour can.
Earthy tones like charcoal, sandstone, terracotta and warm browns are the most popular choices because they suit Australian homes. Pair coloured concrete with a broom or honed finish to match the feel of your home.

Concrete Repairs & Resurfacing
Not every concrete job needs a full replacement. Cracks, spalling, uneven surfaces and tired looking slabs can often be fixed with repairs, crack stitching, grinding or a full resurface over the top of the existing concrete.
We will take a look, tell you honestly whether repair or replacement makes more sense for your situation, and quote both options where it is worth comparing.
